Daniel Esteban Novoa, Executive Vice President & Co-Founder of The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce (HRCOC), recognized AmCham Argentina’s work during the 2026 Trade & Investment Conference and expressed HRCOC’s commitment to advancing joint initiatives that expand business and trade opportunities between both countries.
From the United States, we would like to express our recognition and appreciation to AmCham Argentina and its entire leadership team for organizing the 2026 Trade & Investment Conference, an event held on October 28, 2026, at the Santander Auditorium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which brought together more than 350 business leaders, institutional representatives, and key figures from the economic and business communities.
The strong attendance and participation reflect AmCham’s ongoing efforts, its ability to bring different stakeholders together, and its leadership’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations between Argentina and the United States.
I would especially like to thank AmCham Argentina for inviting me to participate as a speaker at this important event, which provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the bilateral business environment and the opportunities available to companies in both markets.
I would particularly like to recognize the vision shared by Alejandro Díaz, CEO of AmCham Argentina, regarding the strategic moment in the relationship between our two countries. We share his perspective on the importance of turning this momentum into deeper economic and trade integration, creating practical conditions for companies to invest, grow, and develop new business opportunities.
We also value and support the perspective shared by Joel Reynoso, Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, regarding the importance of expanding investment, financing, and trade opportunities.
At HRCOC, we strongly support this approach and recognize the Embassy’s efforts to promote a bilateral relationship that benefits the broader business community.
A Retail Perspective: Supermarkets and the Food and Beverage Industry
My perspective is rooted in the specific industries represented by The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce in the United States.
Our focus is particularly on the food and beverage industry, consumer products, technology, services, and equipment and accessories supporting the supermarket retail industry. This ecosystem offers significant opportunities to deepen trade integration between Argentina and the United States.
Based on our experience working with supermarkets, manufacturers, and suppliers in the U.S. market, we believe this integration must include all segments of the economy. Opportunities should not be limited to major export industries, but should also extend to small and medium-sized businesses, manufacturers, service providers, and companies involved in supply chains and commercial distribution.
From my perspective, based on what I observed and heard during the event, there is still significant room to strengthen the support provided by Argentine government representatives to businesses in our sector. In particular, I did not perceive the level of commitment and clarity needed to fully recognize the challenges facing the supermarket and retail ecosystem, or the importance of creating conditions that support the sustainability and growth of these businesses.
This observation reflects my sector-specific perspective and the experience we have gained from the U.S. market. At the same time, it reinforces my belief in the importance of advancing greater openness, institutional cooperation, and public-private collaboration.
We believe that integration between Argentina and the United States must translate into tangible opportunities for businesses in both countries, facilitating access to the U.S. market and creating new possibilities for investment, trade, and growth.
HRCOC: A Business Bridge Connecting Argentina with the U.S. Market
At The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce (HRCOC), we work in the United States to connect supermarkets, manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers, while facilitating business opportunities, investment initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and long-term commercial relationships within the U.S. market.
Our mission is to support business development and connect companies across the supermarket retail ecosystem, particularly in the food, beverage, consumer products, technology, and services categories.
We believe that trade integration between Argentina and the United States should be comprehensive, mutually beneficial, and inclusive of all productive and commercial sectors.
In this regard, we would like to express our institutional commitment to working closely with AmCham Argentina, supporting its initiatives and exploring joint efforts to connect companies, develop business opportunities, and strengthen the presence of Argentine products and services in the U.S. market.
AmCham Argentina has our recognition and support from the United States. We deeply value the work it continues to carry out in support of trade, investment, and business development. We are confident there are significant opportunities to combine our efforts and create new connections between companies in both countries.
HRCOC stands ready to contribute its experience, business network, and knowledge of the U.S. market to AmCham Argentina and to the institutions working toward deeper economic integration between our two countries.
Argentina and the United States have an opportunity to turn this moment into business, investment, jobs, and growth for both societies. At HRCOC, we want to play an active role in that process by building bridges and creating opportunities for companies in both markets.
