The Fresh Market announced on Wednesday, March 19, the grand opening of its newest store in Algonquin, Illinois, marking the premium supermarket chain’s eighth opening in the Chicagoland area and its fourth in the last five months. Committed to providing high-quality fresh foods and an exceptional shopping experience, The Fresh Market is pleased to bring its passion for freshness, unmatched service, and hospitality to Algonquin.
Local officials, including the local Chamber of Commerce, city government, and representatives from the Northern Illinois Food Bank, were on hand to celebrate the grand opening of the 27,000-square-foot store. Guests joined the store team at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. To celebrate the new store’s opening, The Fresh Market donated $2,000 to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Algonquin store will be The Fresh Market’s fifth location to donate to the food bank for food recovery.
