PRESS RELEASE – HRCOC
Washington, DC | January 28, 2026
The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce (HRCOC) is proud to announce the appointment of Juan De Paoli as Strategic Advisor – Retail & Grocery, strengthening its Board with a distinguished leader with an outstanding track record in the U.S. grocery and supermarket retail sector.
With more than three decades of experience across private label, retail, and consumer packaged goods (CPG), Juan De Paoli has held senior executive roles at some of the most influential organizations in the industry, leading growth, transformation, and consolidation initiatives at a national scale.
His career includes executive leadership positions at Kroger, Ahold Delhaize USA, Topco Associates, and H-E-B, where he played a key role in the development and management of private label programs, as well as in integration and strategic restructuring processes within the grocery retail ecosystem.
From HRCOC’s perspective, this appointment responds to the need to further strengthen strategic analysis and informed decision-making in critical areas of today’s retail landscape, including the evolution of grocery, the strategic role of private label, category-level profitability, and the relationship between retailers, suppliers, and brands in an environment of tighter margins and increasingly demanding consumers.
In his role as Strategic Advisor – Retail & Grocery, Juan De Paoli will actively contribute to the work of the HRCOC Strategic Advisory Council, bringing executive insight, operational experience, and strategic judgment to the development of content, recommendations, and programs designed for boards, regional chains, and key stakeholders across the retail ecosystem.
“The addition of leaders with hands-on experience in steering U.S. retail organizations is essential to elevating the quality of strategic analysis and decision-making. This appointment reinforces HRCOC’s commitment to an agenda grounded in applied knowledge and long-term vision,” stated HRCOC leadership.
With this designation, HRCOC continues to strengthen its role as a reference platform for analysis, collaboration, and the advancement of Hispanic retail in the United States, integrating leadership, experience, and strategic focus for the benefit of the entire industry.
