    Introduction
For over 88 years, Amaya Teas has cultivated exceptional Camellia sinensis
(specifically the Assamica cultivar) in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, producing exquisite
black, green, and oolong teas that reveal the unique terroir of this biodiverse region.
Notably, Amaya is the only industrial producer of black and oolong tea in Brazil.

1: The Unique Terroir and Sustainable Ecosystem
Our Camellia sinensis thrives in the rich ecosystem of the Atlantic Forest in Registro,
State of São Paulo, Brazil, benefiting from a unique terroir that imparts distinctive
flavors to our black, green, and oolong teas, a testament to our enduring tradition.
This balanced environment naturally prevents pests and fungi, eliminating the need
for agricultural pesticides on our crops.

2: Tradition, Quality, and Unique Processing
Building on 88 years of tradition, Amaya Teas ensures exceptional quality through
continuous improvement. Our non-orthodox cut leaf process, utilizing local
technology that enhances its unique flavor profile, delivers a consistently
exceptional tea. We proudly supply to Mate Leão (Coca-Cola Company), meeting
    their rigorous quality standards.

    Boilerplate
Amaya Teas, a Brazilian family-owned company founded in 1936 by Japanese
immigrants in Registro, State of São Paulo, Brazil, is dedicated to bringing the
distinct flavors of our sustainably grown Camellia sinensis to tea enthusiasts. Our
complete control over the entire process, from planting and processing to
packaging, ensures a superior quality product. Continuing an 88-year legacy, we
share the rich heritage of Brazilian tea.
