Dulles, VA – Washington, D.C. | May 20–21, 2025
With pride and deep gratitude, The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce (HRCOC) celebrates the successful conclusion of the first-ever Grand Retail Show — an event that exceeded expectations and established itself as a strategic meeting point for the Hispanic supermarket ecosystem in the United States.
This inaugural edition brought together exhibitors, media, industry leaders, academics, key distributors, and — for the first time — diplomatic representatives from commercial departments of various Washington D.C.-based embassies, all with a shared interest in strengthening commercial ties between their countries and the Hispanic and broader U.S. retail community.
Gratitude and Forward Momentum
HRCOC extends its heartfelt thanks:
- To the exhibitors, for placing their trust in this first edition. Their participation marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to explore new business opportunities, elevate brand visibility, and build strategic connections with leading players in the Hispanic retail sector over the next 12 months.
- To the press, for amplifying our message and highlighting the importance of building a more inclusive, professional, and global industry.
To our keynote speakers and international experts, for delivering high-value insights, key trends, and practical case studies that enriched the professional discourse of the Latino Retail Forum.

Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Alliances
We are proud to highlight the presence of our Main Partners:
- Intermex, a leader in remittance and financial solutions, reinforcing the bridge between retail and financial inclusion.
- ADSmovil, a pioneer in Retail Media, offering innovative perspectives on connecting brands and consumers both in and beyond the store.
These partnerships pave the way for new commercial and technological opportunities that will benefit brands, supermarkets, and consumers alike.

Launch of The Retail Academy
A landmark moment during the event was the official launch of The Retail Academy, the new educational division of HRCOC, developed in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey. This initiative reflects our firm commitment to developing the next generation of Hispanic retail leaders. Special thanks to Ing. Rafael Castelltort, Nadia Loreley Loera, and the academic team led by Pablo Jair Elías González.
Special Guests and New Members
We were honored to welcome:
- John Ross, CEO of IGA, for his powerful keynote on the role of independent retailers nationally and globally.
- Ana Velázquez, Vice President of the Retail Learning Institute, for sharing her educational vision.
- OPENCatman, for introducing impactful category management tools.
Grupo DIA, for joining as a new associate member of HRCOC and contributing their expertise in private label development.
