Joining the Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce.

Fuego de Mesquite, a Mexican producer of 100% natural mesquite charcoal, joins the Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce as a strategic partner for retail chains looking to strengthen their private label offerings with an authentic, high-performance product supported by reliable logistics to the United States. The company is now active within the Chamber’s marketplace with retail-ready solutions.

Mesquite as a high-performing retail category.

Mesquite charcoal represents a high-margin category in modern retail. While it maintains a strong cultural connection with Hispanic consumers, demand has steadily expanded among general-market shoppers, BBQ enthusiasts, and consumers seeking natural, high-heat cooking products. This positions mesquite as a universally appealing item with strong shelf performance.

Private label as a strategic opportunity.

Fuego de Mesquite offers a flexible private label program, enabling supermarkets to launch their own charcoal brand with premium packaging, custom design, active UPC codes, and presentations tailored to their commercial needs. This model allows retailers greater control over pricing, positioning, and profitability compared to traditional branded products.

Standardized quality, origin, and production capacity.

As a direct producer, Fuego de Mesquite ensures batch-to-batch consistency and an annual production capacity of up to 2,200 metric tons. The portfolio includes two lines: Standard Retail, designed for steady shelf rotation, and Premium Selected Large Chunks, featuring hand-selected large pieces for superior performance. Both products are 100% natural, chemical-free, and made from certified Mexican mesquite. Mesquite wood is not produced in all regions of the world, making its origin a key factor in authenticity and category differentiation.

    DDP logistics and supply continuity.

Fuego de Mesquite operates under a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) model, managing permits, customs, transportation, insurance, and final delivery directly to the retailer’s U.S. warehouse. This approach removes operational friction for buyers and ensures a consistent, year-round supply, even during peak demand seasons.

Branded line and category visibility support.

In addition to its private label programs, the company actively supports its branded line, Fuego de Mesquite, with an active presence on social media and marketing initiatives that help strengthen category visibility and support sell-through at the shelf.

A new partner ready for U.S. retail.

With its entry into the Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce, Fuego de Mesquite presents itself as a prepared, reliable supplier ready to collaborate with Hispanic and general-market supermarkets across the United States through the Chamber’s marketplace.
