Washington, D.C., June 16, 2025 – The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce (HRCOC) is excited to announce the addition of Josapar, one of Brazil’s most recognized rice brands, as a new official supplier and active member of the Chamber of Supermarkets’ Purchasing Center.

With over 100 years of history, Josapar is a symbol of quality, tradition, and innovation in rice production in Latin America. Recognized for iconic brands like Tio João, the company exports to more than 40 countries and is positioned as a strategic partner to expand the offering of high-quality staple foods in Hispanic supermarkets in the United States. “The arrival of Josapar to our purchasing center marks an important step in our goal of connecting leading Latin American producers with Hispanic retailers in the U.S.,” said Daniel Esteban Novoa, Executive Vice President of HRCOC. “Rice is a key category in our community, and having a brand like Josapar guarantees trust, flavor, and competitiveness for our partner supermarkets.”

Thanks to this partnership, Josapar products will be available to HRCOC-affiliated supermarket chains, supported by a platform that promotes efficient distribution, commercial positioning, and strategic support.
