Vinagres Golden: More than a dressing, a liquid heritage with a Colombian soul

Bogotá, Colombia – June 2025. Since 1986, Vinagres Golden has transformed an everyday ingredient into a sensorial and cultural experience. Founded by María del Pilar Olave, this Colombian company has rescued the ancestral traditions of our grandparents’ artisanal vinegars from oblivion, focusing on innovation without losing the essence. As its founder states: “More than a dressing, it’s a heritage to be savored.”

With 29 varieties of vinegars approved by INVIMA, many of them made from exotic Colombian fruits, Vinagres Golden is today synonymous with excellence and authenticity. Its products have been endorsed by demanding chefs and are sold in major supermarket chains, haute cuisine restaurants, and health food stores throughout the country. Its production technique is based on a natural double fermentation process, without additives or preservatives, which combines German technology with ancestral wisdom. Each vinegar is made from the must or juice of carefully selected fresh fruits and is developed under the highest quality and food safety standards, aligned with GMP, HACCP, the US FSMA Act, and Codex Alimentarius.

Among its most notable innovations is the Vinegar Museum, a unique space in Colombia that pays homage to the vinegar-making tradition. There, visitors can learn about the process, taste different varieties, and understand why each bottle of Golden Vinegars holds a living story.

    Product Benefits:

    • 100% natural: no additives, colorings, or preservatives.
    • Rich in natural antioxidants that contribute to digestive and metabolic well-being.
    • Versatile in the kitchen: ideal for salads, marinades, vinaigrettes, healthy drinks, and even gourmet desserts.
    • Suitable for healthy diets: allies in balanced eating plans, detoxes, and weight control.
    • Live fermentation: some varieties preserve the “mother of vinegar,” a source of natural probiotics.

As members of the SBG Retail Purchasing Center, Vinagres Golden is part of the network of companies that make up The Hispanic Retail Chamber of Commerce, opening a window of opportunity for its internationalization, especially in the US Hispanic market.

Vinagres Golden not only enriches cuisine, but also preserves history, promotes health, and celebrates Colombian pride in every drop.
